Standard steel wardrobes are manufactured using industrial processes such as bending, welding, and powder coating. But how can exquisite patterns be created on the wardrobe's surface?
| First, it is necessary to understand the difference between engraving and printing patterns. | ||
| Comparison Dimension | UV Flatbed Printing | Pure Laser Engraving |
| Color Source | Colored UV ink | Oxides or structural colors induced by laser on the metal surface |
| Color Richness | Extremely high; virtually unlimited; capable of photo-quality full-color | output Relatively limited; colors are significantly influenced by material and process parameters |
| Imaging Principle | Ink adheres to the surface after curing | Directly alters the metal surface material itself |
| Process Suitability | Highly compatible with the requirement to print any customer-provided design directly | Better suited for specific color markings such as logos and text |
Working Principle:
The printing process relies on the physical interaction between the laser and the steel surface to create distinct patterns. The entire operation functions much like a massive printer, where the wardrobe door serves as the "paper" and the pattern is formed by "ink" that cures rapidly under UV light.
Laser Printing:
The basic workflow for laser printing is as follows:
The customer provides a color design, which is then input into a computer system and processed by a specialized raster processor. The design is then printed onto the wardrobe surface using a printing head. The crucial step is instantaneous UV curing; within just a few seconds of printing, the pattern bonds firmly to the surface. The resulting cured coating is highly durable, offering waterproof, sun-resistant, and rust-proof properties.
